Beihua Uninversity has been built in cooperative relations with 65 colleges in 20 countries and areas. The university has carried out several forms of undergraduate and graduate student cooperative training. Nearly 800 people have studied abroad. This university now deals with 84 undergraduate majors, 56 major for master programs and 8 expert majors for master programs in the past three years,. The Beihua University also has recognized an exchange relationship with 65 colleges from 20 countries and regions. For this purpose we have developed Chinese-foreign cooperative relation with 3 universities in the UK, Finland, and the United States. It has also mutually developed a Confucius Institute with Gangwon University in South Korea. From the last 3 years, more than 300 international students has been graduated from this university. The university have won several competitions in different activities including challenge cup, dragon boat race, electronic competition, mechanical innovation design, etc. This university has 4 hospitals with more than 1000 beds.

Beihua University is the largest key comprehensive university in Jilin Province. It is a university jointly established by the People’s Government of Jilin Province and the State Forestry and Grassland Administration. Approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in September 1999, it was formed by the merger of the former Jilin Teachers College, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College, and Jilin Electrification College. Jilin Private Midwifery School was founded in 1928, Jilin Provincial Forestry School was founded in 1952, and Jilin Provincial Vocational School was founded in 1920.
